5 books to die for!
5 books to die for!
The love of books is a love which requires neither justification, apology, nor defense. And while it’s possible that love, in the human sense, is blind, our love of books is generally of the more choosy variety. So whether you're a vivid reader on the quest to fill up your world with more wonderful books or someone who's just instilled the love of reading, here are The Top 5 Books Of All Times.
1-The
Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
One
of the finest books that I came across, everything about this book is great. It’s a story of a boy Charlie, a
15-year-old introverted bright Pittsburgh boy, who just entered high school and
is super nervous about his new life. The whole story is written in form of
letters that Charlie wrote to someone( the readers I guess). It is a must-read
for everyone!
P.s.-
The book is (almost always) better than the movie.
2-Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho
With numerous exceptional novels like The Alchemist, The pilgrimage, Brida and many more, Paulo Coelho’s novels get better and better. One such novel is Eleven Minutes, that recounts the experiences of a young Brazilian prostitute and her journey to self-realization through sexual experience. It’s commendable how beautifully the story is written and that is why this novel is in our top 5.
If you're a Harry Potter fan and you haven't read all 7 books at least once! Are you even a real fan? The books are undoubtedly 10 times greater than the movies!
4-
Looking for Alaska by John Green
John
Green has written about 9 novels up till now But this book – about 17-year old
Miles Halter and the friends he makes at an elite boarding school in Alabama --
remains my favorite John Green novel to this day. The story revolves around
Alaska Young, who he falls in love with as she guides him through his own
"labyrinth of suffering."
5-
Are You Afraid of the Dark? By Sidney Sheldon
The
last and probably the best novel by bestselling thriller written by Sidney
Sheldon. The story starts with four people die violently and mysteriously In
four cities around the world. The dead share a single crucial link: each was
connected to an all-powerful environmental think tank, Two of the victims’
widows may hold the key to their husbands' demise. The novel is written so as
to hold your curiosity until the last word!
